Terms of Service

1. What Safve is
Safve is a pilot service that helps families protect themselves from AI voice scams by establishing a shared verification word. The service is currently free to use while we test it with early families.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over to create a group. If you invite family members who are under 18, you are responsible for ensuring their parent or guardian consents to their participation and is aware of what data we collect.
3. What we provide and what we do not guarantee
Safve is provided as-is during the pilot period. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability of the service
- Delivery of SMS messages to all carriers, handsets, or countries
- That the service will prevent all scam attempts
Safve reduces the risk of being deceived by AI voice impersonation. It is a verification aid, not a substitute for calling the emergency services in a genuine emergency.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your safe words private. Share them only in person. Never by text, email, or any messaging app.
- Only add people to your group with their knowledge and agreement.
- Do not use the service to contact people who have not agreed to receive messages from you.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe you are misusing the service. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at hello@safve.co.uk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Safve and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which during the free pilot is zero.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by SMS before the changes take effect.
